We've been preparing our budgets for KWBU-FM and TV over the last two months, and there's a gap between projected revenue and expenses for the next fiscal year. We've been talking with our partner, Baylor University, and for the coming year Baylor has pledged the same financial support as they provided this year. But that is their limit.

WACO, TEXAS April 15, 2010 -- Public radio station KWBU, 103.3 FM announces plans to air Marketplace, an entertaining high-energy program on world business and finance from American Public Media. Marketplace will begin airing weekdays, at 6:00 p.m. beginning Monday, May 3, 2010 following NPR's All Things Considered.

WACO, TEXAS - KWBU-TV will broadcast the 100th Annual Baylor University Homecoming Parade, one of the oldest and largest in the nation, with live coverage from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009. Encore presentations will air on KWBU-TV at 11:00 p.m. that evening and Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
